William Shakespeare is generally regarded as one of the greatest playwrights of the English language. Even today, many modern stories are variations on the themes presented in Shakespeare’s works.

However, Shakespeare wouldn’t be well-regarded unless there were readers to regard him, would he?

But who are Shakespeare’s readers? Surely, you are among them. And Shakespeare’s greatness is due precisely because most of us agree positively about his work. Even if you don’t like to read Shakespeare’s work, you must agree that you’re responsible for at least some of his fame and recognition.

Aldous Huxley said once: “There comes a time when one asks even of Shakespeare, even of Beethoven, is this all?”
