Life Starts Now

Doesn’t life start NOW? Not yesterday, not tomorrow, and not even later today, but NOW?

There’s a great line in the song “Time” from Pink Floyd’s “Dark Side of the Moon” album.

No one told you when to run

You missed the starting gun

The clock has already started! Up until this point, you may not have been ready to take the reins of your life. However, when you figure this one out—you can really take off. The time to start is now. Now. Now. Now.

Of course, there’s a period during which you’re maturing when you simply don’t understand the framework of time. But the sooner you break out of that and realize the time is now, and that now is the most you’re ever guaranteed of getting— the sooner you start making sure the world receives your full gifts.

It’s not a nag or a judgment. It’s just a simple fact. Doing things now doesn't mean to hurry up or to cut corners. Just beware now is all there is, so do with it what you want!
