How would you describe the rest of the graph?

How would you describe the graph paper?

Would there be a graph if there were no points? Would there be a graph without the paper on which it's drawn? Would there be a graph if there wasn't a table holding the paper? Would a table be stable if it weren't resting on a solid floor? An so on...

If you were a leaf on a tree. how would you describe the tree of which you are part? How would you describe the forest? How would you describe the land around the forest?

And what if you (as a point) could also see the line, and the paper, and the table, and the room?

What if a point on a graph thought it was the whole line? How crazy would that be?
