My father’s sister married a member of the United States Marines. He was always very wise and full of great stories and aphorisms. He was big strong, and a Marine—always in charge. But during his 15 years after retiring from the Marines, he grew to be one of the most influential management consultants in Southern California.
He figured out his speaking career as he went along!
