Dip a cup in the ocean and pull out some water. You wouldn’t deny you’re holding a singular cup of water. You can discern the boundaries easily-- you can tell where the water ends and the cup begins. Yet the water came from a separate (seemingly endless) source.
You can look at your body as that cup containing a little bit of ocean water. You can’t deny the separateness of the water while the cup is holding it. When you pour the water back, the ocean takes it back without any argument!
